Lol. Been some time since I last updated the blog. Have been 'leveling up' in a new Taiwan originated mmorpg entitled 吞食天地 Online II. Played the previous version and found it quite fun back then (during schooling days. haha) so when this game was officially up on the 17th this month, I kept a close eye on it. As usual, being the kiasu me, I opted to wait and join once a new server was created (I want to start on level playing field with the rest, no use joining an established server with palyers far far ahead of you in terms of skills and levels).

One do tend to get addicted though. Always wanting to log on to make sure level's not too far behind the leaders. Another bad thing about this is that there's actually the point card system. That's how the company makes money.
Basically, you spend S$10-S$20+ bucks on point cards ranging from 150, 300 and 450 pts and upon purchasing you can enter these points into your game acc as virtual tokens. With these tokens you get to purchase some useful/cool items eg. a crystal ball which allows you to stall 20k learning points into it and upon usage of this crystal ball (to learn skills), your 20k becomes 25k. Also helps in terms of convenience as the max capacity of learning points each character has is 20k (30k for lvl 30 and above) so instead of having to make trips to increase skill level or learn new skills everytime your capacity is max-ed out, you can accumulate a few of these crystal balls before doing so.
Hmmm, meanwhile Sigames have announced the official sales date for Football Manager 2009. Woo-hoo! My fav. game besides San Guo related ones. Really gives you the feel of being a football manager. Haha. Current set as 14 Nov. Enough games to keep me occupied over the hols then. ;)
