It's the theme song from a korean movie entitled "The King and The Clown".
The singer's strong vocal, together with the emotional references of the musical instruments and lyrics blended well into a piece.
I like the way the lyrics were presented. No sophisticated phrases. No exaggeration. Simple words which string together to form a clear/realistic story/picture.
Here's some of my favourite lines from the song:
You're a gift upon this weary path of life.
(Godalpun salme kire dangshinun seonmu~rin geol.)
--- --- ---
I'll continue to shine this love so that it won't rust away.
(Yi sarang i noksulji antorok nul dakka bichulkeyo.)
--- --- ---
Even if our love is unattainable, I won't regret it because nothing is forever.
(Metchi motandedo huhehaji ancho, Youngwonan geon Eopsunika.)
--- --- ---
On the day we meet again after the long way round, please don't let go of my hand.
(Meon gil dora dashi mannanun nal, narul notchi marayo.)
--- --- ---
I'll continue to shine this love so that it won't rust away.
(Yi sarang i noksulji antorok nul dakka bichulkeyo.)
