人生啊,人生!

"That which does not kill us makes us stronger."
Friedrich Nietzsche
Looking back now that one of those thingy is 'over', I guess I was a bit negative 吧。 After all, I benefited from it - just that it was extra long/tiring process than it should've been(?). It's sure to help in my individual essay plus thought I was quite eloquent for today's presentation - cos I was the creator of the ideas 嘛。 So its like a father knowing the child. Really ought to have 想开一点. But then again, if I never 想开,then I might not even have done what I did 咯. Ranting kind of relieve that pressure/stress/anger out regardless of extent.

"A new baby is like the beginning of all things-wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities."
Eda J. Le Shan
"Diaper backward spells repaid. Think about it."
Marshall McLuhan
A friend gave birth 2 weeks ago. Another is expecting due in a month's time. Suddenly, life and babies form such a strong opinion in my mind. Can't describe the feeling. Like I told both ladies, it's really very 神奇. It's really Heaven's creativity at work. For 9 months +/- you know 'it' exists but it's very much an impression only. I guess only the mum really feels 'it'. Then 'suddenly' it appears in sight.

It's a real beauty. Its an entirely new start with a perfectly clean slate. You just wish to try and keep it as pure and secure as a sheet of white paper. Suddenly feel an urge of wanting to take care of a newborn baby.

The Longest Distance in the World 世界上最遥远的距离
The longest distance in the world
Is not that between life and death
But when I stand in front of you
Yet you don't know that I love you

The furthest distance in the world
Is not when I stand in font of you
Yet you can't see my love
But when undoubtedly knowing the love from both
Yet cannot be together

The furthest distance in the world
Is not being apart while being in love
But when plainly can not resist the yearning
Yet pretending you have never been in my heart

The furthest distance in the world
Is not,
But using one's indifferent heart,
To dig an uncrossable river for the one who loves you

The farthest distance in the world
Is not we cannot be together when we love each other
But we pretend caring nothing
Even we know love is unconquerable

The farthest distance in the world
Is not the distance between two trees
But the branches cannot depend on each other in wind
Even they grow from the same root

The farthest distance in the world
Is not the branches cannot depend on each other
But two stars cannot meet
Even they watch each other

The farthest distance in the world
Is not the track between two stars
But nowhere to search in a tick
After two tracks join

The farthest distance in the world
Is not nowhere to search in a tick
But doomed not to be together before they meet

The farthest distance in the world
Is the distance between fish and bird
One is in the sky,
Another is in the sea

(I learnt a new English phrase, thanks to this song. :))

meet someone halfway: compromise with, make a deal with, make concessions to, reach a compromise with, come to an understanding with, split the difference with (informal), find a happy medium with, find the middle ground with, go fifty-fifty with

I know cant turn time, cant erase mistakes
I tried to run
But I just cant escape
I cant think straight
Baby, Im so torn apart
