1st post of 2009

Been a long time since my last blog entry. Hmmm.... basically just slagged throughout the yr end holidays, mostly playing games. :p

Was a bit nostalgic after catching the repeat telecast of 倚天屠龙记 (The Heavenly Sword & The Dragon Sabre) and felt the urge to go back to chinese RPG games again. Sadly ever since my Poly days there've been fewer and fewer outstanding titles. The most renowned one has got to be 仙剑奇侠传. Very 'chee-na' (slang word for being retro in the ancient China aspect). Since my PC's specs back then when some of the games were out wasn't up to the standard back then, it was an opportunity to try my hands on these games again and 'catch back' lost times.



Meanwhile, was allocated in morning session, as were my 3 other fellow untrained teachers. Being ever so 隨便, my mere disappointment, was to miss out on the chance to experience the handling of P1 kids. By the time I started my stint at the sch last yr, it was already Mar and the kids were more or less settled down so it would have been interesting having 1st hand experience of guiding them right from the start.

Alas, there was another form of challenge for me, in the form of a new subject - Art & Craft. Ok, not exactly the toughest of jobs, but certainly not something within my expectations. All my 4 classes are P3 and chinese mentoring attachments with a P4 and P5 class 'wrap up' my timetable. Also had a new allocation in terms of CCA in-charge from Badminton to Athletics.

Here's wishing my (hopfully) final few months at KHS will be an enjoyable and memorable one.
