A couple of days when I happened to hear the radio DJ mention that Beyonce's 'Sweet Dream' had an original version named 'Beautiful Nightmare', I thought it was meant to be a cold joke. Not anymore, after I heard that "original/cover" version by Travis Garland.
Think Beyonce's version 'stole the thunder'. Afterall, 1st impression counts but the two songs are of different perspectives so not too much of 'competition' or conflict there. Nice way of getting the messages through same tune.

No Turning Back

No one will understand what another is going through, although one may sense it. The common saying is don't keep things to yourself, share it, seek advice etc. Unfortunately, life is often not as 'common' as it is. Somethings are better off conquered alone, like it or not.
Made countless turns. Tripped over the many pebbles. Seems to be moving around in a round about. Know there'll be an end to the road (there has to be one!) but seriously can't see it at the moment. There's no turning back. Only direction to move on is forward. Cant' and won't turn my head back.

Bye Bye, Crayon Shin-chan. 永别了～
Mainichi Daily news reported:
A body found at the bottom of a cliff on a mountain in Gunma Prefecture has been identified as that of Yoshito Usui, author of the popular manga “Crayon Shin-chan.”
Police identified the author’s body from dental records. Gunma Prefectural Police said that Usui appeared to have fallen 120 meters from Tomoiwa cliff on Mount Arafune, which straddles Gunma and Nagano Prefectures.
Usui’s camera and his backpack, which contained his cell phone, wallet and some clothing, were found on a slope about 50 meters away.
A climber found the body on Saturday morning, and a Gunma Prefectural Police helicopter lifted it out of the area on Sunday afternoon. An autopsy conducted at Shimonita Police Station concluded that Usui likely died around Sept. 11 after his lungs were crushed from the impact of the fall.
Been engrossed completing my assignments due today that I was late when this news reached me. The last news I came across on Yoshito Usui, author of the manga "Crayon Shin-chan" aka 蜡笔小新，was through Taiwanese news reporting on his disappearance and MIA.
Sad news indeed. How ironic is it, for someone who has provided so much laughter to others, through his work, to pass away through such painful, miserable death. Again, dare I say, life is never fair. Stay positive though.
I'm not exactly an avid fan but the way he portrayed Shin-chan was creative and interesting. Like one of my lecturer previously mentioned, its like an adult's soul in a child's body. He's not dirty-minded. He's not flirty. He's simply curious and sees things a wee bit different from what would've been expected from a child of his age. Usui is a big loss and so is Shin-Chan. Shin-Chan's "butt-dance" will be missed!

So 'Drama' Yet So Real
Today marks the end of my MIA. It's been quite some time since I turn to this 'method' to ease my emo-ness and soothe my mood. The past 10-14 days have been pretty frustrating. Really 'it's like one step forward and two steps back'. But hey, like the saying goes, 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger'.
Been indulging myself in songs, both old and new. This one reminds me of a 'dilemma' which I found myself in years ago - of cos not to the extent of what Jay Zhou 'did' (>_<")!
If you've been in a similar/same situation before, this song will pretty much click with you (actually most of his songs does, cos they each tell a story). If you haven't before, then pray that it'll never happen to you!
The ending I met up with wasn't the same as the one in his MV though. Not that I'm regretting/despairing over. Sometimes, things are best left the way they are. You don't have to grab and hold it in your palms to know you 'own' it.

I was deciding between 断了的弦 and 安静. Decided on this cos I think this one has more depth than the former, and feel it fits you better too.
Also choose CL song since (you claim) your CL is good. LOL. Refer to the chinese lyrics ba. Afterall, its the origin and the words are really simple yet meaningful. ENG translation was provided by poster of the video (and helps if you can't catch what some lines are saying).
Not all things require detailed analysis and explaination. Think (and hope) you already got my point. May each breathe of yours feel lighter now. Smilezzz *_^/~
